Description

Das Rezept für Apfeltascherl wird mit einer Fülle aus Zimt, Rum, Zucker und Zitronensaft zu einer köstlichen Nachspeise. Schnelle und Einfache Apfeltascherl Rezepte.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package puff pastry
  • 3 apples
  • 1 splash rum
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 egg, for brushing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  2. Peel the apples thoroughly, removing all skin, and cut them into small, uniform cubes. This ensures even cooking and a pleasant texture in the filling.
  3. Place the diced apples in a medium mixing bowl. Add the splash of rum, pinch of cinnamon, teaspoon of lemon juice, and tablespoon of sugar to the apples. Stir the mixture well so the apples are evenly coated with the flavorings.
  4. Unroll the puff pastry sheet onto a lightly floured surface. Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, cut the pastry into 12 equal rectangles. Try to make the pieces as even as possible for uniform baking.
  5. Distribute the prepared apple filling evenly among the 12 pastry rectangles, placing the filling in the center of each piece. Be careful not to overfill, as this can cause the pastries to burst during baking.
  6. Fold the corners of each pastry rectangle towards the center, overlapping slightly to seal the filling inside and create a small pouch or ‚tascherl.‘ Press gently to ensure the pastries are sealed and the filling is enclosed.
  7. Crack the egg into a small bowl and beat it lightly with a fork. Using a pastry brush, brush the tops and edges of each assembled tascherl with the beaten egg. This will give them a glossy, golden finish when baked.
  8. Arrange the assembled tascherl on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each one to allow for puffing and expansion during baking.
  9. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the tascherl for about 20–25 minutes, or until they are puffed up and a deep golden brown color.
  10. Once baked, remove the tascherl from the oven and allow them to cool slightly on a wire rack. Optionally, dust them with powdered sugar before serving for extra sweetness and an attractive finish.

Notes

For an extra touch, sprinkle the finished Apfeltascherl with powdered sugar before serving. You can also add a handful of raisins or chopped nuts to the apple filling for additional flavor and texture. Serve warm for the best taste and aroma.
