Blitz Käsekuchen Rezept

  • Author: Sarah
  • Total Time: 30

Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 120 g Mehl
  • 120 g Zucker
  • 160 g Margarine
  • 4 Eier
  • 2 Packungen Vanillezucker
  • halbe Packung Backpulver
  • 720 g Quark
  • etwas Zitronensaft

Instructions

  1. Begin by preparing all the ingredients and preheating your oven to 170°C (top and bottom heat). Grease a 24 or 26 cm springform pan with a little margarine or line it with baking paper to prevent sticking.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 120 g of flour, 120 g of sugar, 160 g of margarine (softened), 4 eggs, 2 packets of vanilla sugar, half a packet of baking powder, 720 g of quark, and a splash of lemon juice. Mix all ingredients thoroughly using an electric mixer or whisk until you have a smooth, creamy batter with no lumps.
  3. Pour the batter evenly into the prepared springform pan. Use a spatula to smooth the surface of the batter so it is level.
  4. Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake the cake at 170°C (top and bottom heat) for approximately 1 hour. The cake should rise and turn a light golden color on top. To check for doneness, insert a toothpick or skewer into the center of the cake—if it comes out clean, the cake is done.
  5. Once the cake is fully baked, turn off the oven but leave the cake inside with the oven door slightly ajar. Allow the cake to cool slowly in the oven for at least 30 minutes. This prevents the cake from collapsing or cracking as it cools.
  6. After the cake has cooled in the oven, remove it and let it come to room temperature before carefully releasing it from the springform pan. Serve the cake plain or topped with fruit such as mandarin oranges, sour cherries, or cherries if desired. Enjoy your quick and delicious Blitz Käsekuchen!

Notes

You can personalize this cheesecake by adding fruit such as mandarin oranges, sour cherries, or cherries directly into the batter before baking. Letting the cake cool slowly in the oven is important to prevent it from collapsing. For best results, use full-fat quark. The cake is also delicious when served chilled.
