Description
Goldgelb gebacken, zart und locker – dieser Vanille-Traum schmilzt auf der Zunge. Sanfte Butter- und Vanillenoten verbinden sich mit feiner Süße, während die weiche Krume himmlisch duftet und saftig bleibt.
Ingredients
Scale
- 120 g Butter
- 300 g Mehl
- 120 g Zucker
- 1 Prise Salz
- 120 ml Milch
- 1 Packung Vanillezucker
- 1 Messerspitze Backpulver
- 2 Eier
- 50 g Schokolade
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F) so it is ready when you have finished preparing the batter. Prepare a muffin tray by lining it with paper muffin cases or lightly greasing the molds to prevent sticking.
- Break the chocolate into small chunks or pieces, roughly the size you would like in your finished dessert. Set these chocolate pieces aside for later use.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the butter (it’s best if it is softened), sugar, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt. Using a hand mixer or whisk, beat the mixture until it becomes light and creamy, ensuring the butter is fully incorporated.
- Add the eggs to the butter-sugar mixture, one at a time. Beat well after each addition until the mixture is smooth and slightly fluffy.
- Pour in the milk and continue mixing until fully combined with the wet ingredients.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour and the baking powder. Stir to distribute the baking powder evenly throughout the flour.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients (flour and baking powder mixture) to the wet mixture, mixing gently after each addition. Mix until everything is just combined and a smooth, thick batter forms. Take care not to overmix, as this can make the muffins dense.
- Fill each prepared muffin case about two-thirds full with the batter, using a spoon or ice cream scoop for even portions.
- Gently press several chocolate pieces into the center and top of each muffin, distributing the chocolate evenly among all the muffins.
- Place the muffin tray in the preheated oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the muffins are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean (except for melted chocolate).
- Remove the muffins from the oven and allow them to cool in the tray for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool further. Serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy!
Notes
For best results, use room temperature ingredients. You can use dark, milk, or white chocolate according to your preference. These muffins taste delicious when served warm while the chocolate is still gooey. If desired, you can add a sprinkle of powdered sugar on top before serving. For extra flavor, consider adding a handful of chopped nuts or a dash of cinnamon to the batter.
