Description
Ingredients
Scale
- 120 g Butter
- 300 g Mehl
- 120 g Zucker
- 1 Prise Salz
- 120 ml Milch
- 1 Packung Vanillezucker
- 1 Messerspitze Backpulver
- 2 Eier
- 50 g Schokolade
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F) and line a muffin tin with paper muffin cases or grease the tin lightly with butter to prevent sticking.
- Break the 50 g of chocolate into small pieces or chunks. Set these aside for later use.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the butter (softened), sugar, and vanilla sugar. Use a hand mixer or whisk to cream these ingredients together until the mixture is light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs to the creamed butter and sugar mixture, one at a time, beating well after each addition until fully incorporated.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, a pinch of salt, and the baking powder. Mix these dry ingredients together to ensure the baking powder is evenly distributed.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk. Begin and end with the dry ingredients. Mix gently after each addition, just until combined, to avoid overmixing and ensure a tender muffin texture.
- Once all the ingredients are combined into a smooth batter, spoon the batter evenly into the prepared muffin cases, filling each about two-thirds full.
- Take the chocolate pieces you set aside and gently press a few chunks into the center of each muffin batter-filled case. You can also sprinkle some on top for extra chocolatey goodness.
- Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the muffins are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center (avoiding the chocolate pieces) comes out clean.
- Remove the muffins from the oven and let them cool in the tin for about 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy your quick and delicious dessert!
Notes
You can customize these muffins by adding nuts, dried fruit, or using different types of chocolate (milk, dark, or white). For extra flavor, try adding a bit of orange zest or a splash of your favorite extract. These muffins taste best when fresh but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
