- 80 g Butter (weich)
- 100 g Nutella
- 40 g Zucker
- 3 Stk Eier
- 120 ml Milch
- 300 g Mehl
- 1 Pk Backpulver
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (top and bottom heat). Prepare a muffin tray by lining it with paper muffin liners. This will prevent the muffins from sticking and make them easy to remove after baking.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the softened butter, sugar, Nutella, eggs, and milk. Using an electric mixer or a whisk, beat the mixture until it becomes light, creamy, and well combined. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as necessary to ensure even mixing.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, chocolate flakes, and baking powder. Whisk or stir these dry ingredients together to evenly distribute the baking powder and chocolate flakes throughout the flour.
- Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients. Use a spatula or a wooden spoon to gently fold the flour mixture into the wet mixture. Continue folding until just combined; be careful not to overmix, as this can make the muffins dense.
- Using two spoons or an ice cream scoop, divide the batter evenly among the prepared muffin liners, filling each about two-thirds full to allow room for the muffins to rise.
- Place the muffin tray in the preheated oven and bake the muffins for 30 minutes. Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick into the center of a muffin; it should come out clean or with a few moist crumbs attached.
- Once baked, remove the muffin tray from the oven and let the muffins cool in the tray for about 5 minutes. Then transfer the muffins to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy your delicious Nutella Muffins!
Notes
For an extra Nutella surprise, you can add a small spoonful of Nutella to the center of each muffin before baking. Simply fill the muffin cup halfway with batter, add a teaspoon of Nutella, and then cover with more batter. You can also sprinkle additional chocolate flakes on top before baking for a decorative touch. Make sure not to overmix the batter to keep the muffins fluffy and tender.
