Oma’s Mandarinen Dessert Rezept mit 3 Zutaten!

  • Author: Sarah

Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 300 g Quark (Magerquark)
  • 250 g Pudding, Sahne-Vanille-, 10 % (1 Becher)
  • 1 Dose Mandarinen

Instructions

  1. Open the can of mandarins and carefully drain the juice into a mixing bowl, reserving both the mandarins and the juice separately.
  2. Add 300 grams of low-fat quark (Magerquark) into the mixing bowl containing the mandarin juice.
  3. Add 250 grams (one container) of vanilla cream pudding (Sahne-Vanille-Pudding 10%) to the mixing bowl with the quark and mandarin juice.
  4. Using a hand mixer or a whisk, thoroughly combine the quark, vanilla pudding, and mandarin juice together until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy. The consistency should be light but thickened, with no lumps.
  5. Gently fold the drained mandarin segments into the creamy mixture using a spatula or large spoon. Be careful to not break the fruit pieces to keep them intact and appealing in the dessert.
  6. If desired, reserve a few mandarin pieces to use as decoration on top of the dessert.
  7. Transfer the finished mandarin dessert into serving bowls or a large serving dish. Arrange the reserved mandarin pieces on top for a decorative touch.
  8. Place the dessert in the refrigerator and chill it for at least 1 hour before serving. This allows the flavors to meld and the texture to firm up slightly, enhancing the overall taste experience.
  9. Serve the chilled mandarin dessert as a refreshing and light treat. Enjoy!

Notes

This dessert also tastes delicious when made with other canned fruits or simply combined with 100-150 ml of multivitamin juice instead of mandarin juice. By increasing the quantities proportionally, this recipe can easily be scaled up to serve more people. Due to the low-fat content of the quark and the moderate fat in the cream pudding, this dessert remains relatively low in fat despite its creamy texture.
