Paprika Gouda Salat Rezept

Paprika Gouda Salat Rezept

  • Author: Sarah
  • Total Time: 30
  • Yield: 4 Portionen 1x

Description

Knackige Paprikastreifen, zarter Gouda und feine Zwiebelringe vereinen sich in cremiger Kräutersahne. Frischer Schnittlauch rundet den bunten, aromatischen Salat mit milder Würze und samtiger Textur ab.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Paprikaschoten (bell peppers)
  • 1 Stück junger Gouda Käse (piece of young Gouda cheese)
  • 1 Zwiebel (onion)
  • 1 Becher Sahne (cup of cream)
  • 1 Päckchen Fertigmischung für Salatsauce mit Gartenkräutern (packet of salad dressing mix with garden herbs)
  • 1 Bund Schnittlauch (bunch of chives)

Instructions

  1. Begin by thoroughly washing the bell peppers under cold running water. Cut each pepper in half, remove the stems, seeds, and white membranes, and discard them. Slice the cleaned peppers into bite-sized pieces or cubes, ensuring they are all roughly the same size for even distribution in the salad.
  2. Take the piece of young Gouda cheese and cut it into small, even cubes, similar in size to the pieces of bell pepper. This will help the flavors blend harmoniously in the salad. Place the cubed Gouda into a large mixing bowl.
  3. Peel the onion and finely dice it into small pieces. This ensures the onion flavor is well distributed without overpowering the other ingredients. Add the diced onion to the mixing bowl with the Gouda and bell peppers.
  4. In a separate small bowl, pour the cup of cream and add the packet of salad dressing mix with garden herbs. Stir the mixture thoroughly until the dressing is smooth and all the herbs are evenly dispersed throughout the cream.
  5. Wash the bunch of chives, shake them dry, and finely chop them using a sharp knife or kitchen scissors. Add the chopped chives to the cream and herb dressing, and mix well to incorporate the fresh flavor.
  6. Pour the prepared cream and herb dressing over the bowl containing the chopped bell peppers, Gouda cheese, and onion. Using a large spoon or salad tongs, gently toss all the ingredients together until everything is evenly coated with the dressing.
  7. Allow the salad to sit in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This resting time helps the flavors meld together and ensures the salad is nicely chilled. Serve the Paprika Gouda Salat as a refreshing and creamy side dish or as a light main course.

Notes

You can customize the salad by adding other fresh herbs or vegetables, such as cucumber or cherry tomatoes, to suit your taste. For a lighter version, substitute part of the cream with yogurt or light sour cream. For best flavor, use freshly chopped chives and a young, mild Gouda cheese. The salad is perfect for picnics, potlucks, or as a colorful addition to a summer barbecue.
