Description

Die Schichtcreme Topfen-Nuss ist ein leichtes Dessert für viele Gäste. Das Rezept kann man gut vorbereiten. Schnelle und Einfache Creme Rezepte.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Becher Sauerrahm (sour cream)
  • 1 Päckchen Topfen (10% oder 20%) (quark or farmer’s cheese)
  • 2 Päckchen Vanillezucker (vanilla sugar)
  • 100 g Staubzucker (powdered sugar, adjust to taste)
  • 150 g Walnüsse, gerieben (ground walnuts)
  • 2 EL Eierlikör oder Nusslikör (2 tablespoons egg liqueur or nut liqueur; substitute with heavy cream or milk for children)
  • 1 Päckchen Butterkekse (Vollkorn) (package of whole grain butter biscuits/cookies)

Instructions

  1. Begin by preparing the cream mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, quark (Topfen), vanilla sugar, powdered sugar, and ground walnuts. Add the egg liqueur or nut liqueur to the bowl. If you are preparing this dessert for children, substitute the liqueur with an equal amount of heavy cream or milk. Use a hand mixer or a whisk to thoroughly blend all ingredients until a smooth, homogenous cream forms.
  2. Select a large rectangular or square dish suitable for layering. Start by arranging a single layer of whole grain butter biscuits (Butterkekse) at the bottom of the dish. Make sure the entire base is covered, breaking cookies as needed to fit the shape of the dish.
  3. Spread a generous portion of the prepared Topfen-Nuss cream evenly over the layer of butter biscuits, using a spatula or the back of a spoon to smooth it out.
  4. Continue building layers by alternating another layer of butter biscuits followed by another layer of the cream mixture. Repeat this process until all of the cream is used up, finishing with a cream layer on top.
  5. Cover the dish with plastic wrap or a lid, and place the dessert in the refrigerator. Allow it to chill for at least 12 to 24 hours. This resting time allows the flavors to meld and the biscuits to soften, resulting in a creamy, cohesive dessert.
  6. When ready to serve, use a spoon dipped in hot water to scoop out portions of the layered cream (called Nocken). Arrange the scoops attractively on dessert plates or in individual dessert bowls.
  7. Optionally, decorate each serving with extra ground walnuts, a dusting of powdered sugar, a drizzle of liqueur, or fresh berries to enhance presentation and flavor.

Notes

This dessert is perfect for preparing in advance, making it ideal for entertaining guests. If you want to make the recipe alcohol-free for children or those who prefer it without alcohol, simply substitute the liqueur with heavy cream or milk. For extra flavor and visual appeal, consider garnishing with chopped walnuts, fresh fruit, or a sprinkle of cocoa powder just before serving.
