Description
Ingredients
Scale
- 500 mL Brühe
- 125 g Gabelspaghetti
- 1 Bund Frühlingszwiebeln
- 1 rote Paprikaschote
- Salz
- Pfeffer
- Curry
- 250 g Hackfleisch
Instructions
- Begin by preparing all your ingredients: Wash the Frühlingszwiebeln (spring onions) thoroughly and cut them into rings that are not too thin. Wash the red Paprikaschote (bell pepper), remove the seeds and inner membranes, and cut the pepper into small cubes. Set both aside for later use.
- Heat a large, deep frying pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the Hackfleisch (ground meat) to the pan and cook, stirring occasionally, until it is browned and cooked through. As the meat cooks, season it generously with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
- Once the meat is browned and no longer pink, add the prepared spring onion rings and diced red bell pepper to the pan. Sauté the vegetables together with the meat for 3–4 minutes, stirring frequently, until the onions soften slightly and the peppers begin to become tender.
- Pour the Brühe (broth) into the pan, making sure to scrape up any browned bits from the bottom for extra flavor. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
- Add the Gabelspaghetti (short spaghetti noodles) to the pan. Stir everything well to ensure the noodles are evenly distributed and mostly submerged in the broth.
- Let the mixture cook, uncovered, over medium heat. Stir occasionally to prevent the noodles from sticking together or to the bottom of the pan. Continue cooking until the noodles are tender and have absorbed most of the broth, which should take about 10–12 minutes depending on the pasta.
- If you prefer a thicker sauce, you can stir in a bit of Soßenbinder (sauce thickener) at this stage according to package instructions. Mix well until the sauce reaches your desired consistency.
- Season the finished noodle pan with curry powder to taste. Stir well and adjust the seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed. Once everything is flavorful and heated through, remove the pan from the heat.
- Serve the schnelle Nudel-Pfanne immediately while hot, optionally garnished with extra spring onion rings or freshly chopped herbs.
Notes
You can use any type of ground meat for this recipe, such as beef, pork, or a mixture. If Gabelspaghetti are not available, substitute with any short pasta or broken spaghetti. For a vegetarian version, use plant-based ground meat. Feel free to add other vegetables like zucchini, carrots, or peas for variety and color.
