Schokokuss Dessert Rezept

  • Author: Sarah

Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 Schokoküsse (chocolate-covered marshmallow treats)
  • 250 g Quark (40% fat)
  • 2 Becher süße Sahne (sweet cream, about 400 ml)
  • 500 ml Rote Grütze (red berry compote, homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 Pck. Sahnesteif (cream stabilizer)

Instructions

  1. Begin by separating the wafer bases from the Schokoküsse. Gently twist or pull off the wafers and set them aside for later. Place the marshmallow and chocolate portion of the Schokoküsse into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Using a spoon or a whisk, carefully smooth the marshmallow and chocolate mixture until it is creamy and evenly blended. Make sure there are no large lumps remaining.
  3. In a separate bowl, pour in the sweet cream (Sahne) and add the packet of Sahnesteif. Using an electric mixer or a whisk, beat the cream until it forms stiff peaks and holds its shape when you lift the beaters.
  4. Add the Quark to the bowl with the whipped cream. Gently fold the Quark into the whipped cream, mixing thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and uniform.
  5. Gradually fold the whipped cream and Quark mixture into the marshmallow-chocolate mixture. Use a spatula or whisk to gently combine the ingredients, ensuring the resulting cream is light, airy, and fully mixed.
  6. Prepare a large serving dish or individual dessert glasses for layering. Begin with a layer of the prepared Schokokuss cream at the bottom of the dish, spreading it evenly.
  7. Spoon a generous layer of Rote Grütze over the cream, making sure to distribute it evenly for a balanced taste in every bite.
  8. Add another layer of the Schokokuss cream on top of the Rote Grütze. Repeat the layering process as desired, finishing with a final layer of the Schokokuss cream on top.
  9. Take the reserved Schokokuss wafer bases and break them into small pieces or crumbs. Sprinkle these wafer pieces evenly over the top of the final cream layer to add a delightful crunch and visual appeal.
  10. For an extra decorative touch, you can also reserve a few whole Schokoküsse, chop them into chunks, and use them to garnish the top of the dessert. Chill the dessert in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld and the dessert to set.

Notes

You can get creative with the decoration by reserving a few whole Schokoküsse, chopping them, and sprinkling them on top of the dessert. For added flavor, try using different varieties of Rote Grütze or even add fresh berries between the layers. Prepare the dessert a few hours before serving to allow it to chill and the flavors to develop fully.
