Description
Luftig-cremige Schaumkusscreme vereint samtige Quarkfrische mit lockerem Marshmallow-Schaum, knuspriger Schokohülle und feiner Zitronennote – zartschmelzend, süß und unwiderstehlich im Löffel.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 Schaumküsse (chocolate-covered marshmallow treats)
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- A splash of milk
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 400 grams low-fat quark (Magerquark)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Additional sugar to taste, if desired
Instructions
- Prepare all your ingredients and have a large mixing bowl ready. Place the 400 grams of low-fat quark into the bowl.
- Carefully separate the chocolate-covered marshmallow treats (Schaumküsse) from their waffle bases. Discard the waffle bases or keep them for another use if desired. Add the marshmallow filling and chocolate coating into the bowl with the quark.
- Add 3 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 packet of vanilla sugar, and a splash of milk (start with about 1–2 tablespoons) into the bowl with the quark and Schaumküsse.
- Using a hand mixer or a whisk, thoroughly combine all ingredients until the mixture is smooth, creamy, and well blended. Make sure the chocolate from the Schaumküsse is evenly distributed throughout the cream.
- Taste the cream. If you prefer it sweeter, add more sugar a little at a time, mixing well and tasting after each addition until the desired sweetness is achieved.
- If the mixture is too thick, add a bit more milk, a tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired creamy consistency. Mix well after each addition.
- Once the cream is smooth and to your taste, transfer it to serving bowls or glasses. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the cream to set slightly.
- Serve the Schaumkusscreme cold, optionally garnished with chocolate shavings, fresh fruit, or a crumbled Schaumkuss waffle for extra texture and flavor. Enjoy immediately.
Notes
For best results, use fresh Schaumküsse. You can customize the sweetness and consistency of the cream by adjusting the amount of sugar and milk. The cream tastes best well-chilled and can be prepared ahead of time. For a decorative touch, top with chocolate shavings, berries, or the reserved waffle bases from the Schaumküsse.
