Description
Ingredients
Scale
- 500 g Mascarpone
- 1 Glas Eierlikör
- 2 EL Staubzucker
- 500 g Biskotten
- 0.5 l Kaffee
- 3 EL Kakaopulver
Instructions
- Begin by brewing 0.5 liters of strong coffee. Allow the coffee to cool to room temperature so it does not melt the other ingredients during assembly. Pour the cooled coffee into a deep, wide dish that will allow you to dip the Biskotten (ladyfingers) easily.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the Mascarpone, Eierlikör (egg liqueur), and powdered sugar (Staubzucker). Using an electric mixer or a sturdy whisk, beat the mixture until it becomes smooth, creamy, and well incorporated. This will be your Mascarpone cream.
- Take the Biskotten and briefly dip each one into the cooled coffee, ensuring that they are soaked but not soggy. Arrange a layer of the soaked Biskotten on the bottom of your chosen cake or dessert dish, making sure to cover the entire base evenly.
- Spread a generous layer of the prepared Mascarpone cream evenly over the layer of Biskotten, using a spatula or the back of a spoon to smooth it out.
- Repeat the process by adding another layer of coffee-soaked Biskotten on top of the Mascarpone cream, followed by another layer of the cream. Continue layering Biskotten and Mascarpone cream until all ingredients are used up, ensuring that you finish with a layer of the Mascarpone cream on top.
- Once the final layer of Mascarpone cream is in place, use a fine mesh sieve to evenly dust the top with the cocoa powder, completely covering the surface for a rich chocolate finish.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap or an airtight lid and refrigerate the tiramisu for at least 3 hours, or preferably overnight. This resting time allows the flavors to meld and the dessert to set properly.
- When ready to serve, slice the tiramisu into portions and use a spatula to lift each piece carefully from the dish. Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes
