Wurst Salat Mit Paprika Und Mais Rezept

  • Author: Sarah
  • Total Time: 30
  • Yield: 4 Portionen 1x

Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 285 Gramm Maiskörner (aus der Dose)
  • 2 Wiener Würstchen
  • 100 Gramm Emmentaler
  • 2 Rote Paprikaschoten
  • 3 Saure Gurken
  • 1 Esslöffel Mayonnaise
  • Salz
  • Schwarzer Pfeffer

Instructions

  1. Begin by thoroughly washing the red bell peppers under cold running water to remove any dirt or residues. Once clean, carefully cut off the stems and slice the peppers open to remove all the seeds and inner membranes. Afterward, cut the peppers into small, even-sized cubes to ensure consistent texture in the salad.
  2. Next, take the sour pickles and dice them into similarly sized cubes as the bell peppers. This will help distribute their flavor evenly throughout the salad and maintain a balanced bite.
  3. Now, cut the Emmentaler cheese into small cubes. Aim for uniform pieces that match the size of the diced vegetables for a harmonious texture and appearance in the final salad.
  4. Proceed by slicing the Wiener sausages into thin rounds. Using a sharp knife, slice them evenly to achieve thin, circular pieces that will blend well with the other ingredients without overpowering them.
  5. Open the can of corn kernels and pour them into a fine-mesh sieve or colander to drain off all the liquid thoroughly. Allow the corn to drain completely to prevent excess moisture from making the salad soggy.
  6. In a large mixing bowl, combine the diced red bell peppers, diced sour pickles, cubed Emmentaler cheese, sliced Wiener sausages, and the drained corn kernels. Gently toss all the ingredients together to mix them evenly without breaking any pieces.
  7. Finally, add one tablespoon of mayonnaise to the mixed ingredients. Season the salad with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste. Using a spoon, carefully fold the mayonnaise and seasoning into the salad until all components are well coated and the flavors meld together. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary before serving.

Notes

For an extra fresh touch, you can add a handful of chopped fresh herbs such as parsley or chives. If you prefer a lighter dressing, substitute mayonnaise with yogurt or a vinaigrette. Serve the salad chilled for the best flavor and texture.
