Bananenwaffeln Rezept

  • Author: Sarah
  • Total Time: 30
  • Yield: 2 Portionen 1x

Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Banane(n), weich
  • 200 g Mehl
  • 2 TL, gestr. Backpulver
  • 75 g Zucker
  • 1 Pck. Vanillezucker
  • 1 Prise(n) Salz
  • 3 Ei(er)
  • 4 EL Mineralwasser
  • 125 g Butter

Instructions

  1. Peel the ripe banana and place it in a bowl. Using a fork, mash the banana thoroughly until it becomes a smooth, lump-free puree. Set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, vanilla sugar, and a pinch of salt. Stir these dry ingredients together so they are evenly distributed.
  3. Add the eggs to the dry ingredients. Then, melt the butter until just liquid but not hot, and add it to the bowl along with the mineral water.
  4. Using a hand mixer, start mixing all the ingredients together on a low speed, gradually increasing to medium speed. Mix until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
  5. Incorporate the mashed banana into the batter. Continue mixing thoroughly with the hand mixer to ensure the banana is evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  6. Preheat your waffle iron until it is thoroughly heated. Lightly grease the waffle plates if necessary to prevent sticking.
  7. Spoon moderate portions of the batter onto the hot waffle iron. Avoid overfilling to prevent batter from spilling out during cooking.
  8. Close the waffle iron and bake the waffles until they turn a beautiful golden brown color. This usually takes about 3 to 5 minutes, but cooking times may vary depending on your waffle iron.
  9. Once the waffles are cooked, carefully remove them from the waffle iron using a spatula or fork. Place each waffle on a wire cooling rack to allow them to cool slightly and retain their crispiness.
  10. Repeat the process with the remaining batter, reheating and greasing the waffle iron as needed.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of cinnamon or a handful of chopped nuts to the batter. Serve the waffles warm with fresh fruits, maple syrup, or a dollop of whipped cream for a delicious breakfast or snack.
